Hours of Operation

The TKA Library is divided into 2 areas and their accessible hours are the following:
Quiet Zone: 7:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
Main Library: 7:40am-5:00pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday;
7:30am-5:00pm Tuesday and Thursday


*The Main Library area is closed until 7:40am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for Staff Devotions.*

Monthly Highlights

Welcome Back Students to TKA!

Library Hours:

  • Quiet Zone: Open 7:30am
  • Main Library: Open 7:40am
  • Close at 5:00pm 
  • Early closure at 4:00pm on Friday 10/10 preceding the 3-day weekend.

Makerspace - Enter the Bookmark Drawing Contest before October 31st and have your work displayed in the Library!

  • Max size: 8.5in x 11in.
  • Can be any shape as long as it’s flat. Cannot be 3D.
  • Keep it Original - Must be original content* and hand-drawn. Let's not copy other people's work! *Can use cartoon/anime characters.
  • Keep it Positive - No putdowns. Let's be respectful!
  • Keep it Clean - No profanity, crude humor, or making fun of political or religious issues.
  • Keep it General - Do not specify people by name.

Genre of the Month - Hispanic Heritage Month: This month we've featured books that showcase Hispanic people and culture!

Library Policies:

  • No Food, Drinks and Gum, only water
  • No hat/hoodies/beanies except for special dress days
  • Quiet Zone- quiet study- no talking or collaboration
  • Be respectful of the space and the students using it.
  • Use Library voices
  • Keep the space clean, tuck chairs back in, leave it better than you left it
  • Do not reshelve library materials- turn into the circulation desk
  • Check out the library materials before leaving
  • Check your library account for overdue dates and return materials promptly
